Mining and Industrial Surplus is the online store for West Oz Surplus a 100% WA owned and family operated business with over 25 years of experience in the surplus equipment and mining industry.
We offer a large range of new and second-hand parts and equipment from inventory stock takes, JV windups and yard clean-ups. Our goal is to supply a high standard of reusable goods at reasonable and competitive prices.
After 20 odd years in the transport industry Russell started an auction company in Midland WA and gradually expanded interests out into scrap metal, bearings and surplus equipment. He was soon joined by his daughters and sons and so our business evolved and along with our sister company have yards and warehouse situated in Naval Base, Western Australia.

Russell Lewis – Managing Director
Russell established West Oz Surplus in 1994.
With over 40 years’ combined experience in the transport and salvage industries, he is able to assist customers in the disposal of redundant equipment and related logistics requirements and can offer his customers very competitive prices.
Over the last two decades, Russell has built a strong customer base through the value he places on relations with all customers, whether they be buying or selling.
